U-Immersive Learning Spaces

A collaborative project with SES Broadband Services (a 100% owned subsidiary of SES, one of the world’s leading satellite providers) and Digitaria International SA (whose primary focus is on developing satellite networks and multimedia applications) that seeks to develop a new generation software/hardware platform that will enable an enhanced formal and informal learning experience by combing both the physical and digital presence regardless of location and device.

This project was funded by the European Space Agency with a 2 million euros matched funding budget. The academic budget allocation was € 200,000.
